March is the women’s month, and the 8th is International Women’s Day. It is a month to highlight women’s contributions to history and to contemporary society, to recognize their struggle for equality, and to celebrate leading and influential figures who have changed the world and impacted humanity.

In commemoration, Hispanic Executive magazine, which aims to amplify the voices of Latin leadership in the Americas, will publish its “Latina Leaders of 2020” edition.

This year, the magazine will recognize Maria Fernanda Espinosa, the fourth woman in history and the first in Latin America and the Caribbean to preside over the United Nations General Assembly, for her role in the struggle for gender equality and the empowerment of women around the world.

Along with María Fernanda Espinosa, other leaders such as María Teresa Kumar, Rosario Dawson, Katia Beauchamp, Alicia Menéndez, and many others will be recognized.
